Yesterday, the Republicans were citing a number of academics who were against the proposed rescue plan as reason for blocking the bailout. These are top scholars from Harvard, Yale, Columbia and so on... One politician even had the reports in his hand, just in case we were wondering if he was making it up.
But the science professors right down the hall from the economics professors... you know, the ones who are trying to tell the same politicians about Global Warming... they're still full of shit. ;-)
